Obamas Unwelcome Afghan Strategy, Reactions and a Lame Congress

From Denny: Republicans complained about Obama not wanting to continue the war indefinitely while Democrats worry about the cost of a protracted war, circulating the lame idea of a war tax to fund the recent surge on an already burdened depressed economy.

Can I kick them all out of office at once? Enough of the stupidity and insensitivity to the fact America is in a Depression, a much too high percentage are unemployed or underemployed (try almost one third of the country and growing), no one can afford their rising health care costs any more and banks no longer loan to small businesses or individuals even those with good records.

To get the kind of legislation the American people require from Congress it's time for us to give them a taste of what it's like to live day to day in the private sector. Time for us, or an inspiring Presidential directive, to cut all House and Senate members' salaries by 70%. Then we must jack up the price of their health care a minimum of 10 times and tell them to go out and buy separate catastrophic coverage.

Oh, and while we are at it, let's foreclose on their homes, jack up the interest rates on their credit cards and then deny them car, business and home loans. It won't be long before they are all a pack of squealing pigs screaming at the top of their lungs about injustice. They will pass laws to benefit themselves so fast it will make your head spin. In short, these politicians are far too comfortable on our dime.
