Well, this evening the Mr Medvedev 'posted' his first tweet on the site as he visited Twitter HQ in San Francisco and was later welcomed to the Twittersphere by Mr Obama who tweeted:
Mr Medvedev's messages will be provided in two languages via two different accounts. Tweets in English will be via @KremlinRussia_E and tweets in his native Russian language will be found at @KremlinRussia.Mr Medvedev is currently making a visit to San Francisco and Silicon Valley in America in an attempt to attract private investment to his country, and so early followers of his twitterstream were even treated to a photo: "The view from my hotel window".
I'm sure this is just the first of many no doubt interesting comments from the Russian premier...
