The Prime Minister David Cameron has recently revealed during this week's session of
Prime Minister's Questions that despite the apparent logistic and budgetary issues related to such a act (a jab at the past government's spending?), the English flag will be "
flying proudly" over 10 Downing Street during the World Cup which kicks off this weekend in South Africa.
"
At no additional cost to the taxpayer, the flag of St George will be flying above Downing Street throughout the World Cup" Mr Cameron said.
Mr Cameron, then called on all MPs from all sides of the house, whether they represent constituencies in Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland, to cheer on "
Fabio Capello's men" before then crying "
Come On England!".
